Wall

Wall

A Poem by NV

I built a wall,
A wall I became
My bricks are made of stone,
But they turned into sand
Heat of the sun greet me,
Moist of the rain meet me
I feel it all at once,
While other wall stand under their roof
Saved and covered thence
I paint to hide my crack,
But my only paint was black

Very nice. As humans we all build walls (emotional) for protection. Sometimes to avoid being hurt. And those walls are always our comfort spots. I like the feeling of darkness it all led to and how it just makes u think. In different ways.
Thank you very much for this lovely piece

I liked how you used the walls. You left the reader with something to think about. Thoughts of black lead to sad place. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
