a poet's confession #1

A Poem by lostnstars

my guilty pleasure is mockery.
i'd rather shout to the world i f*****g
hate you in 200 dozen ways of words.

i can do it free verse on the back of a receipt.
i can do it haiku style and tell the world i could
spit on your ground with just three lines.
i can do it one line; one question you
could never answer without any guilt.

anything and everything i actually never said to you.
anything and everything i should've said to you.

everything i could write just to put
on a brave face and say you're so full of s**t.
anything i could write just so i can convince
myself i'm already cured and over it

when i never was.

what was never said but should have been said...now has been said...your poem is
extremely expressive...
the stronger the feeling of hate, the more we realize we really still love that person.
We can try to fool others, but we cannot fool ourselves.
