goodbye to my dream i left behind

goodbye to my dream i left behind

A Poem by lostnstars
"

after Angus & Julia Stone

"
goodbye to the creaking floors i'll never get to hear when
you walk to me for a goodbye kiss.
goodbye tot he bottles of cheap red wine we'll never get to
drink when we want to forget everything.

goodbye to the movies we'll never watch together.
goodbye to your favorite video game i never got to finish.
goodbye to the radio hits we'll never get to sing loudly again.

goodbye to our s****y kitchen we'll never renovate.
goodbye to our little garden we'll never plant and build.
goodbye to out 97 year old wedding photograph we've never had.

goodbye to your fingertips i'll never feel on my skin ever again.
goodbye to our childhood memories we never got to tell our kids,
the children we'll never meet.

goodbye to what we could've been,
and everything else we left behind.
