sweet toxicityA Poem by lostnstars
Hours kept counting, “will you go to sleep?”
All six pillows beg you, so is your bed Pointless fights just for you to take a leap To your present longing self that has bled Ruby and mum said to kill dying smoke Day and a day, all blues in silhouette Week was getting weaker, so was a bloke You did look back, then lit your cigarette You view her detailed story as your tale Begging for her truth that she struggles with, Photographs of her like she was on sale It choked on your heart but it helped you breathe Indulging on aqua feels godlikeness Seduction, fiction, you’ve already won pouring an undone soul in nothingness Is never the right way to love someone Both your flows were light, but also heavy Cowardly thinking it was déjà vu Emotions were held by poison ivy, I still see myself coming back to you © 2019 lostnstarsFeatured Review
