The Butterflies Swarm

The Butterflies Swarm

A Poem by Chasity Reynolds

I glance to the left,
And I see you look,
I blush brightly,
You can read me like a book.

One word said,
A simple "hello",
Surely this time I won't be led on,
Oh, please, say it isn't so.

Let me feel your lips,
So gentle and warm,
Hands caressing hair,
The butterflies swarm.

You smile so bright,
Like the glowing summer moon,
Wrap your arms around me,
Like a safe and loving cocoon.

How lucky I am
To have found someone like you,
With your gentle words,
And all of the other wonderful things you do.
