Smiles shine

From pixilated reality

Her heart beats loud enough

To warm the globe

She beautifies the earth

With gentle hands

Creating awe in a vacant lot

Leaving a piece of herself

In the ground

On a page

In a heart

Open doors

Drifting scents of home cooked care

Laughter of family, friends and neighbors

A simple smile

Gone supernova

In a world of dark deeds

This is why she was born

This day

Another harbor in the tempest

Another candle in the dark
