sleeping sun

sleeping sun

A Poem by Brad
"

i'm not sure what the hell this is

"

Blood red sun

Sinks deep

Into the ocean

About

The waves carried by current

Shimmer like

A live water colour

The crimson star

Giving inspiration

To lover, artist, poet…

I am

Beneath

The wave of human growth

Drowning

In anothers progress…

Deep and powerful. Your words and emotions stick out. I like the wording it captures the rays.

the first 10 lines are cohesive and together they paint a picture... towards the end it takes on a life of it's own and shoots off from the original thought it seems. nevertheless, I really enjoyed the read, it was worth staring at the sun I'd say :)

Interesting on the eye and speaks to the heart of all who try to keep up with the lovers, artists and poets who seem to have that little something they lack. Perceptive piece.
