lost paradise....

lost paradise....

A Poem by Brad
"

somewhere...there is a land of respite

"

where’s my beach

that blanket of sand

warm upon my legs

that ocean crash

ebb and flow

massaging the restless

heart and soul

of a blinded shadow

of a man

bullied into silence

where’s the palm trees

and the endless sun

to break the monotonous

darkness that creeps

upon my every turn

that salt water air

to relieve my senses

take me home

take me home

don’t let me die

in this strange hell

where no one knows me

and no one claims me…

this is why one longs for 44 feet of waterline to sail and discover these treasures around the blue orb ~ I hear Catalina calling ~

I always feel the call of the ocean (or any water really) and my dream would be to live in such a place as in the picture.
