coffee and clarity...
A Poem by Brad
morning thoughts of a bad day...
3 sugars
20 ounces
black
muddy water
hitting the back
of my throat
warmth
like the womb
invading every cell
my mind awakes
the cobwebs clear
some jazz tune
stored for a rainy day
begins playing...
my feet begin the rhythm
and
each
step
becomes
a
little
easier.....

These lines are perfect here!
All the rest of the day can be put on hold when moments like this happen, or so we wish they could lol
Great poem!

I'm down to two cups a day, but only on the days I work . . . it does make the morning better
