Promises

Promises

A Poem by crownhead

Promised we'd be getting married, you were probably excited but again i failed to carry, theres so many things your heart will never learn how to burry, so many offs and ons i know its been getting scary, you wonder why i do this, you never question your heart even when you think its foolish, stand your ground if it falls apart and smile even if your clueless, im so blind that your my blessing, up all night i keep you stressin, just one kiss no words needed when im finessin, but theres no giving up now , its just them and us now but

Your so tiered of promises, your love might never fade, but your slowly drifting, you never throw no shade, for the weight that im not lifting, and you throw me all your love but baby im so distant, your so tiered of promises, that you know ill never keep, you try to hold that smile but it breaks you up inside that my loves been hard to reach, theres no walking out, we're just in too deep, its been hard to get along, its been harder just to sleep you so tiered of all these promises , all my unkept promises, all these broken promises. You want no more promises you just want forever

Far from the man that you want but you close your eyes and just keep wishing, theres plenty fish in the water but we dont do no fishing, forget all when we kissing, you want all that im missing, disapear when im needed, reapear when im lonely, but im no magician, i pay no attention, to guard my position, i should just stop and listen, but im geeking and sniffin continue with poor desisions, your heart might always love but might lose the vision, losing control of my self i cant avoid but brace for collision, i been held down by all my addictions, you try to push to success but i hold down all your ambitions, now you do the drug and its all because of me, and i swear i really love but its you i just cant leave, you a good girl ima thug but your the reason i breath but

You been tiered of promises, your love might never fade, but your slowly drifting, you never throw no shade, for the weight that im not lifting, and you throw me all your love but baby im so distant, your so tiered of promises, that you know ill never keep, you try to hold that smile but it breaks you up inside that my loves been hard to reach, theres no walking out, we're just in this too deep, its been hard to get along, its been harder just to sleep you so tiered of all these promises , all my unkept promises, all these broken promises you want no more promises you just want forever
