Tell Me Things.

Tell Me Things.

A Poem by Tiffy.

Tell me things i'll never know
But i'll never find your reasoning
Your sides confuse my feelings
The reverse psychology behind all this
Seems to make me love you less
Paper mache will always have mistakes
and we're blinded in white
but everything's gray.

Where's the progress from your suffering?
Have you learned to just give up on this
Tell me things i'll never know
and i'll shut them out eventually
Though it may not be what I want
Though it may be what I need
All i'll remember are those kindergarten words.

No more than five,no less than four
Is this how you really feel?
No less than three,no more than five
Is this the end of another high?
Baby this is such a bad trip
or really am I just coming down?

Oh suffering progress
Are you a distant fairy tale?
I've told myself you're non existent
Just like you.
Thought I can forget your face
and i'll go and forget your name
Love,especially yours,
I'll spend a lifetime trying to forget

Tiffy.
I know it's long but it needs some serious critiquing I believe. Thanks.

Well, you can't critique poetry. It's meant to be a record of thoughts, may they be abstract or simple. It is only the poets thoughts, his/her expression. There is no such thing as a bad poem. And this is expressed rather nicely, to be honest. You ask questions that allow the reader to see things the way you see it. Nice job.

Tiffy, this was very impressive, you have a nice talent. Continue to sharpen your pen and keep your notebook dry, your caliber of art can only improve. Very well done.
