Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler

A Poem by R.L. Davenport

When all light dies
You'll close your eyes and testify
No need to destroy your mind
Enemy of mankind
Plead against the absence
Where're you going in this life of madness?
Addicted to the feeling
Addicted to the tragic
Military action
Discipline of a thousand assassins
Useless flesh in a mansion
Revel in hysteria
Just another Manson
On your knees as the obscene was born
All or nothing
The everlasting individual's war
By your own actions
May the body be torn
Spirit intact
A test of the God's
Forever,
 Truth and fact
