Black As Night

Black As Night

A Poem by R.L. Davenport

Forever the seventh warlord
That cannot die which is eternally dead
Laughing at mortals as they’re disemboweled
I warned you of your hate
Warped and haunted by their own undoing
 Wrapped in eternal suffering
 False deliverance and derailed brains
Kept in the dark by their own flesh

That's a really interesting piece. It seem rather dark, but at the same time there seem to be some glimmer of hope in that the darkness has been called out and you know why... Flesh.
I'd like to know more about this poem and the thinking behind it. Intrigued.
Well done, nice piece.

Black hearts cannot change. One day. They shall digest their own greed and hate. Nice use of words and thoughts made the reader think and ponder your words. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
