On the Reals

On the Reals

A Poem by Rainy420

It's something I feel way deep inside
Down where the really intense feelings hide.
I want to pay it the thought it deserves
I don't want to settle
For vanilla soft serve
But that would just hurt my teeth
And my gums
Yes, I know there's no pleasing
The woman I've become
Maybe that's just how it seems
Because I wear a suit of armor
Trying to protect my dreams
I act like a toughie, but
It's all a bluff.
My heart's actually
Made of marshmallow fluff.
