I have a long standing desire,
Or maybe a need
To fill up blank pages
With poetry to read
Poetry that makes you think
About everything, even the
Old kitchen sink
Blank lines and blank pages
Drive me to drink and
You don't get too buzzed
When your cocktail is ink
I'm afraid at least one
Ugly rumor is true:
Drinking ink cocktails can
Turn your tongue blue.
