I Never Wrote.

when sweet nothings are everything

after everything turns into nothing

you turn hardened up and tough

to keep from being hurt again

 

i never wrote a poem, not a song nor a verse for you

and maybe it was for the best

because now there is nothing left

only you as "just a friend"

 

but what a friend you are

to build me up so high

and tear me down in a way

i eternally said goodbye

 

i will never believe in love

for as long as youre in my sight

because my vision is tunneled

and your eyes are so bright

 

i never wrote for you

so this is where i begin

only to tell you

i am crushed it is the end.

Another very passionate write, I too have felt this way..the pain is beautiful in a sad way.. love is in all forms moving ..in the distance it looks much smaller , letting go does not mean love leaves..
