Keep Quiet, I'm Trying To Drown (All My Faith)

Keep Quiet, I'm Trying To Drown (All My Faith)

A Poem by lorrainelobotomy
"

wrote it at 4 am, before i had to catch a flight home. shouldve been sleeping, but instead i wrote this. its not that great either.

"

Only the liars know the truth,

and I wonder if you're lying when I lie next to you.

You can keep a secret,

but you can't break my heart.

If you break my secret,

then you can't keep my heart.

I'm the storm before the calm,

and you're far from in my palm.

When I get off this plane,

I'll let you know how I really feel.

'Cause I feel like this is the end of the beginning

and I'm beginning to drown all the faith I ever had

(in you)

Because if this is the end,

then you aren't really mad.

But I'm spent and I lent you all my love

maybe it was too soon,

but for now you're a

---shhh

close the doors and lock them

I know youll be in my bed once again.

(or maybe not)

Very unsure of it all. A feeling that can drive one insane as well as "drown" ones faith. You have caught that moment well.
