You Wear Me Out.

You Wear Me Out.

A Poem by lorrainelobotomy

My pen cuts through the paper like the razor on my skin.

All the places that I hate are the places that I've been

All the people that I've seen are the people that mean nothing to me.

Can you help it?

Why don't you look and see,

how close you really are to me.

The closer to my heart or death,

of which I cannot seem to reach,

but these lies that I am telling you are the lies that I am sure to preach.

I liked this. It was different. The first line especially was so captivating, the whole comparison with pen to paper as razon to skin, very deep, very meaningful I thought.

All the people I have seen are the ones that mean nothing to me.

Great line, I can relate so much to it. The ending was awesome, "The lies that I will preach"
I really liked this, short and simple but to the point and meaningful. I liked this.
