What does depression feel like to you

It feels like a thousand stab wounds to the heart, a sharp knife puncturing your lungs and the air draining from them. It feels like a punch in the stomach that hits so hard it leaves you lifeless on the ground.

The ache that takes over your whole body is exhausting, leaving you numb and making even the simplest things impossible.

The overwhelming feeling of wanting to die, wanting to kill your self and end the tortuous pain is the only thing running through your mind, dancing through your veins, the blood begging to be freed and trickle down your arm as the life drains from you. But even that is too much. So you just end up living the same day over and over again, sleeping, existing, sleeping..

It’s the worst pain in the world..
