The invisible child

Why don't they see him?

His parents bicker in the kitchen

Austin has a shower

Hi parents yell in the laundry

Austin brushes his teeth 

His parents scream in the living room

Austin combs his hair

His parents make up in the bedroom

Austin goes to school

His parents throw things in the pantry

Austin comes home covered in bruises

His parents brawl in the dinning room

Austin locks the bathroom door

His parents make up on the bench

Austin draws the knife slowly across his veins

His parents go to bed

Austin lays bleeding out on the bathroom floor

You showed two completely different perspectives in simple sentence, yet managed to form a whole movie in my mind. While this is beautiful as a poem, maybe you could convert it into a story? It would be very interesting.

It's very sad knowing that a child has to go through so much before they just decide to release themselves because they can't tolerate it any longer.
This poem creates an awareness about how parents should put themselves aside for the sake of their children. It was a very well written poem. Good job.
