Never Again......

I haven't written poetry for a while so here goes.......

Never Again will the tears from your betrayal fall

 

Never Again will I let you, my mind and body maul

 

Never Again will I hear your cold and broken call

 

Never again to forget that I have taken all.

here hurt becomes a virtue, a commendable quality since "never again" is the chosen refrain.
In fact, you can devote an entire night just listing all the things in this universe that
follows never again, from being hurt to getting on a roller-coaster / On this site you will find
the many treatments of the love poem ranging from the contemporaneous to the 'out and out'
"get out my face and don't come back" type. "This, I suspect, falls somewhere in between.
There is something solitary about it. Perhaps even stoic..

but I love it.....well done.
