The March of Bittersweet Victory

The March of Bittersweet Victory

A Poem by VinneTheCreator

The March of Bittersweet Victory

A quick gaze a across your face and already I'm sucked in
A enclosed border concealing the unparalleled debauchery and sin
The incendiary lust inside ignited as my essence plunges deep within
All my problems fade away I watch the sight of skin on skin

Despite my attempts to leave your heated grasp, I'm still constricted by sweet despair
Who I am is shattered in fragments, held by viscous ambrosia but still beyond repair
Clockwork moving hands mark the time but the balanced rhythms only as frequent as I dare
At the end of my gluttonous road the harm, where pleasure is as thin as air

Then the goal of the sloth at work is reached as I rush the ceiling and meet
Laying my head down on my pillow, a small moan of mournful defeat
