My muse tends to talk in her sleep. There was more but unfortunately I'm not a scholar of welsh language. Listening sure made me wish I was. Thank you for reading. Feel free to comment, troll, or just say hi. I appreciate it.

Google is definitely my friend too haha. Thank you Neville.
This is poetry Carlos.
"Oh, Queen of Camelot; Queen of heart
Paint me in colors of death an depart"
I loved the above lines. We who seek the dance of death. We will find her. Thank you my friend for sharing the outstanding poetry.

No greater or nobler death than that. To me in the telling of these romances Guinevere has always been the personification of love. She is an archetype. Much like what the author Joseph Campbell describes in the hero's journey. In my youth I was drawn to and fascinated by the hero knights of these fables. As they represented ethics, virtue, and truth. Later now in life I see that the most powerful message is that which Guinevere defines. Love. That is what resonates with me more now and why I see her as the true centerpiece of the romances of Camelot. The true hero. Thank you kindly my friend for sharing your thoughts with me. I appreciate it my poet friend.
You took me back a few years with this one Carlos, I loved to read and to watch on TV a series about King Arthur and the Knights of the round table. That whole Camelot mystique was fascinating. A love triangle there, the King, his Knight Lancelot and Queen Guinevere. Yes, virtue and sin captures the scenario well. All good wishes.

Especially, with Camelot. I personally feel there is more to Guinevere than the tales reveal, and perhaps unjustifiable how she is shown to be. Leave to men storytellers to make a woman look bad just to insert more allure into the work. I totally feel her story is more complex and rich in humanity. That she may be the unsung true hero of the whole story. I wish I could continue with writing the rest of this unfinished piece but how can I as a man capture the personified virtues of womanhood that she represents as an archetype. In the tales she has come to represent the symbol of love. I wish I could do better justice to her tale. Thank you so much again for your thoughts.

From a woman's perspective I think she loved them both, the older King and the handsome Knight. I think it is entirely possible to love two. I imagine Guinevere to be a woman who suffered turmoil as a result of her feelings. I don't have her in my mind as a dark shadow:)
Oh gosh Jacob, I jut love your poem..The rhyme is excellent...the idea is brilliant..
In some weird way it reminds me of the poem I just posted Forevermore..
About death and love...
Happy to have read your poem early this sunny morning in Spain,

I wrote this a while back but just couldn't find a way to continue and finish it. To me I feel it needs a woman's perspective that illuminates aspects of Saint, martyr, woman, queen. These aspects that I mentioned to Jacob. In the Camelot romances I feel that Guinevere is just as central a figure as Arthur if not more. Because she comes to personify love in all its aspects including tragedy and hope. She is such a prominent archetype character in literature. And I feel that the heart of this uncompleted piece wants to signify those qualities about her that the stories do not in many ways. Alas, I'm just a man that is incapable of weaving that aspect into her poem that she so deserves. Thank you again Lisa for reading and sharing your thoughts with me.

I here Spain is a beautiful country. I been trying to work on a piece about the great Castilian hero Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar. His story has always fascinated me as equally as the Camelot tales. With Vivar being grounded more in reality being the difference. Spain has such a deep rich history.

"Guinevere had green eyes, like yours, lady like yours" (Crosby, Stills and Nash)
a combination of sin and virtue...that is tidy.
I feel the Raven flying over Camelot.

Plus, being a fan of Crosby, Stills, and Nash makes it all the more awesome. My favorite song of theirs is Southern Cross. Guinevere as an archetype character has always fascinated me. There is a saint Mary quality about her despite the tales of indiscretion. It only adds to her saintly allure. I feel there is more to this piece but I couldn't find it in me unfortunately. It seemed to vacillate between Saint, martyr, woman, and queen seeking to personify many aspects of the ideals of womanhood. Things we gravitate to in story. Especially, when dealing with a strong female character, and yet one as vulnerable as she is strong. I wish I had your poetic acumen because when my mind is unable to decipher a poems intent I give up on it to easily. I may revisit this in the future, although it was written a few months back already. I saw it earlier and just decided to release what was done. Thank you again for leaving such a kind comment on this poem. I'm always grateful when peers whose art I respect and admire give me encouragement by commenting on something I wrote. It does mean the world to me, my friend.

i agree on Southern Cross, although 49 Bye Byes is such a close second...
If I can say something worth saying that makes just one person think about others...I'll try. The greatest storyteller was my grandmother. I miss her stories. Also, I would like to add to please pay.. more..
