My muse Cate Blanchett says I'm too clingy. She states "I have an aversion to your perversion." That cut me deep. Feel free to comment or leave thoughts. Thank you for stopping by.

The boundaries made, the walls surrounding are hard to break through and yet crumble so easily...you write with powerful poignancy dear Carlos :)

No man has ever taught me its value or worth more than the females that were so inspirational in my life. Both in the good and bad lessons. Any work that I have written about love was inspired and influenced by a strong female. They truly have inspired my creativity. Without them there is no art in my heart. Thank you so much again for your comment.
Contemplating the bars of one's captivity is very powerful...its hard to know of we are being protected or kept from something beautiful.

When one has been trapped in a bad relationship for so long it is difficult to erase the mind set of their caged heart. For they have grown accustomed to their plight and come to believe the cage is safer than what other prison may await outside it. This poem reflects the mentality of love being traps waiting for victims to fall into. Which side of love is safer? The solitude of self love and flighty nature or the traps that lay awaiting to capture you in the cage of their heart shaped prison. Thank you Ada for sharing your thoughts on this poem.
Paper hearts scattered about
are fragile just like we go
through many stages of emotions
you cannot hold is heart captive
in the long run it will rebel..
nice work😊

It seems like your heart is too wild to be tamed down by an exclusive lover. you need to be free like ribbons of rainbow fantasy...you will not be kept, nor imprisoned by one; you are a bird flying towards a dream's end. lovely images describe this soft, luscious poem.
Best, B

There are just some people whose love can't be caged due to their flighty enchanting nature. Your comment captured what I was reaching for in this piece. Thank you so much again.
Like ribbons of rainbow fantasy popped balloons of candy flair - probably my favorite line in this well written poem. Who doesn't love ribbons of rainbow fantasy - it sounds sublime to me! :) Julie

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this poem. I'm kind of fond of that line as well.
Many after a heartbreaking, pain, hurt, etc... close their hearts, build high walls around them. they might spend their entire life like this. no colours, no rainbows... no enchanting smiles. I believe after reading this the heart of Miss Cate will melt into colours mixing with yours. she will want You now to forever be
"clingy" :>

I must admit though I love the flighty nature of my muse. Her affections must be taken in small increments and moderation. Too much wallowing in beautiful dream can leave one oblivious to the wonders of life around them. Where inspiration for new art grows before their distracted eyes.
Beautiful bouquets of unique words. I love your poems, they bring hope to my life every time.
