you teach us to read between the lines, but here you lay out your emotions so vividly; the need for attention; you are talking to us about the vestiges of our time, because we are all poets and have intentions. We all feel pain at times and our words can get muddled; many of us are stuck somewhere in the middle between the plot and the end. I believe we are all obsessed at times with our writing. You are speaking for all of us, but mostly of you, the poet of the rhyme. Very Well written Carlos.
Best, B

I will confess this work put me on quite a journey of self discover. Especially as a writer because it truly is a personal journey we all endure upon its road. If we as artists lost the ability to speak and write what of our art would we most want to be remembered for? It is a profound and difficult question to ask of ourselves because of our love for our art. But to me it is in the joys of conversations I have with artists I respect and admire in their art. To speak to you and share...that means the world to me. We could ask no more greater gift from our ar than that. Thank you so very much for these moments of reflection and conversation. As well as friendship.
Wow. Amazing work. As a writer, I can see you clearly in my mind; your blood in the piece, and feel the intensity of your emotions with in myself.

I was hoping to convey pieces of the writer's journey in the creation of our art. Everyone's process may differ but we all hold a common aspiration. To influence and inspire the audience to thought and if possible their better nature. We want the words to linger, whether for a moment or forever. Because this is our way of establishing change in the world of others. Be true to yourself as a writer and find comfort in the messages you hope to instill within the heart of your audience. Move them towards their humanity by talking to them in your art. Thank you so much again for your thoughts. I truly appreciate it.

You speak ture. Your message was conveyed perfectly; and your very welcome.
Wonderful poem Carlos. Yes, we write to both remember and forget. And the spaces between the lines allows the reader, the freedom to interpret as they see fit. We are our own poems.

It's remarkable that one can go through the body of work here by any given writer and discover the person behind the words. It makes fans of us all to read the multitude of voices both young and old. From a variety of places throughout the world sharing their aspirations. Pieces of themselves here in our community. It astounds me every time I think about it. All sharing this incredibly important gift of words in art. It truly is a blessing.

Thank you, Chris, you do the same as well. Wish you all the best and enjoyable weekend too.
As writers we write for many reasons; to etch our words so that others will feel what we have felt. Sending emotional vibrations into the pages echoing with feeling and memories we have had in our life.
Painting masterpiece with words instead of paints and canvas.

We paint master pieces in words hoping they find a home in the heart of our readers. We bleed for our art, we weep for it, with our tears allow it to grow. We implant these memories and messages in the minds of our audience in hopes to remain there a while longer. We give them a world of art to exist in and flourish. We give them journey and adventure. Hope and love, most of the time. And in the end make it unforgettable so they come back for more. In hopes we can Inspire them to their own creative destiny. We are writers and it is why we write. And love each others work.
We surely do that, don't we...and if we keep writing about it, how the heck can we ever forget?
It's such a conundrum.
I like this one a Lot!

We bleed into our work, sacrifice, toil the soil, and share uncompromising with our souls. I'm agnostic and make no bones about it but I find such a divine spiritual essence in our art of words. We are the word. And whatever greater entity, scheme, equation, or spirit out in the vastness of the void there may be or not , there is a creative power in the speaking and writing of words. The world changes because of them.
