The work was inspired by another on this website. So please I encourage others to go and read that outstanding piece of poetry. After thinking profoundly and with great intensity that I got a bloody nose from it, two hours later, and written within 3 minutes I might add, which really isn't bragging because it really just shows how lazy I am, I birthed this from my mental uterus, hence the nose bleed. Who says men can't give birth! We can, just not as good as women!!! PS....this by no means should ever be considered valid love advice, unless you're misogynistic. It is simply meant as satire. To qoute the fat red hat king..."So sad."

Growing up and being mostly raised by my grandmother, because both parents worked a lot, who had this beautiful garden she tended to on a daily basis I have to totally agree on your analogy. Love truly is a garden. I was there and saw it bloom for myself. Thank you again my friend.
loving small...even with the "how to" book, so hard to do.
and yes on the bigger loves. They may erode but this senryu is a reminder that they never really go away...
they are like a poem with an ellipsis at the end...the heart never forgets.

I find the art of senryu writing a challenging endeavor. Being a type of writer who loves words and being overly descriptive in storytelling this type of poetry is constraining, and yet very beautiful when written properly. As I have mentioned in the past I'm not that proficient in the technical aspects of writing, for alas I must admit my penchant for laziness in this part of the art form. My writing teacher would often hand me back my homework with the note "A plus for content D minus for grammar. Learn the art correctly, Le Fool." Ah I miss those simple days of constructive heartbreaking advice. I would have rebelled more if I had been any good at it, just to tick him off even more. He saw more potential in me then I did myself. You just got to love and admire teachers. Thank you my friend for reading and leaving your thoughts on this poem.

I should have prefaced this poem to point out the obvious fact this is not to be taken as love advice. Because truth be told it was written by a person who has failed in the venue of love countless times for loving too small and too plentiful I might add. I'm the Will Ferrell of love, I'm an acquired taste best consumed in very tiny portions during a half-moon while spouting gergorian chants into a chalice of virginal blood on the hillbilly sabbath. In essence I'm that foul taste in the mouth that lingers well after the brushing of teeth. No amount of mouthwash can cure. And it leaves you thinking I should have spat and not swallowed. Thanks again for commenting I really do appreciate it.
If I can say something worth saying that makes just one person think about others...I'll try. The greatest storyteller was my grandmother. I miss her stories. Also, I would like to add to please pay.. more..
