I have no doubt that Summer inspires some of the most beautiful songs and poems ever written. It sure makes us smile a lot during this season.
A song of summer. How positively charged this is Carlos. You bring the reader some beautiful imagery. Like those butterflies, my mind was fluttering into the past remembering the long carefree days of summer. Thank you for evoking such happy memories of childhood and reminding me that summer these days is often about my garden. Scented and colourful with lots of wildlife to ponder on. Nothing like a clear blue sky and sunlight to lift the spirits. Beautiful thoughts and such an uplifting write. Yes, it just makes you want to kick off those shoes and dance again, barefoot in the clover :)

We have a youthful attachment to this season because it conjures up and stirs our memories with the vibrancy of our younger days. Lazy Sundays and chasing butterflies in particular have that effect on me. I'm happy if these little lyrical lines can do the same for others. Thank you so much again.
What a sweet and innocent poem! It feels good to read and relive my youth at the NC beaches. I can see the water and feel the warm sun on my face. Thanks!

I wanted to write something that had a musical lyrical beat to it. And I was immediately drawn to the Commodore's song 'Easy'. With maybe a little Taylor Swift thrown in. To try to paint what summer feels like. That way it brings out an evocative image of the past in the readers mind of what the season means to them individually. I am happy with the results from these kind reviews revealing their memories of summer. I couldn't ask for anything more as a writer. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this short work and sharing your memory of summer. It truly is beautiful.

It's not to say other seasons aren't as pretty, but in summer things are their most colorful and brighter. There is just so much hope during these bright days. And love is just that much more beautiful in Summer.
What an absolutely beautiful poem! I really enjoyed it!

There's just a calm relaxing laziness to that day. If I could ever choose a last day where I draw breath I hope it would be a Sunday. Like the great composer Lionel Richie once sang in his wonderful song Easy...."I'm easy like Sunday morning."
In this area, it is the period between mid-April to mid-July where she really displays her beauty.

Summer in her beauty is serendipitous and flighty by nature but we cling to her like shiphands on a sinking boat cast out at sea in a storm. Trying to squeeze one more day out of her. Thank you for your thoughts.
A very upbeat piece, something we need during these times. Love can do that.

Nothing binds us together more as human beings then the simple kindness of love. And the things we have a profound love for. I love summer, the world is at its brightest and most vibrant. She just inspires me with her colors.
If I can say something worth saying that makes just one person think about others...I'll try. The greatest storyteller was my grandmother. I miss her stories. Also, I would like to add to please pay.. more..
