Inspired and dedicated to the great spiritual writer, Kahlil Gibran. Whose words encompassed all the great qualities of religious and spiritual thoughts from all faiths.
As an agnostic I look at such things objectively, and though I hold no belief in organized religions I am moved by the humanity of their poetry.

I am not sure if you have already but if you should get the opportunity I highly recommend a book called 'the Prophet' by the great writer Kahlil Gibran who was the inspiration of this spiritual poem. I myself am agnostic but I am moved by the profound wisdom in most religious and philosophical texts. Their beautiful words speak of our yearning to simply be better human beings. And I believe for the most part we as writers at times ask of our readers to do the same. What speaks of our own divinity then just that, to be better to each other with love. Thank you for sharing your kind thoughts I truly appreciate it.

I am moved by the words and incredibly enlightened wisdom of Mr. Gibran. He was truly one of the great writers and deservedly so. People of all faiths and ethnicities can't help but be divinely inspired by the powerful wisdom he shared with the world. If everyone would read and take into their soul what he said about simply being better human beings because it is there we best reflect the infinite then there would be less suffering and much more kindness toward one another. I am saddened that I being in my mid fifties took this long to discover Kahlil Gibran's incredible moving stories, and most importantly his faith and love for humanity itself despite our imperfections and cruelty towards one another. I don't think I could take credit for this poem because the words were derived and inspired by Gibran. As a human being I recognize my imperfections and frailties. I could never come close to this masterful writer, but it is my hope that I could at least try to tell more people about him. So they could come to know the beauty of his culture and beliefs. And most important his love for all of us, regardless of who we are. Because this poem is him.

Much of Kahlil Gibran's work speaks in a spiritually magical style of poetry. One can't help but be touched and profoundly enlightened by his writings. Many great writers, artists, and songwriters consider him a major influence in their work. After reading his book 'The Prophet' I could definitely understand why. His sense of mysticism, spirituality, and the divine nature of all speaks to its readers conveying that our eternal search begins within, before accepting throughout. He truly was the inspiration of this poem and am happy you enjoyed a piece of the man I could share with you.
