My heart

My heart

A Poem by Lord of mad men

in the dark I seen no light

then I see a light that make it all so bright

In the dark I  hear a voice the pierces the darkness of my soul

In the dark my heart hid

where ice had consumed it

Then there was a smile that thawed my heart and pulled it towards the light

My heart was in a box as black as the night

And covered in ice

as cold as the ice in my soul

Till I found the key that unlocked and thawed the box

With one touch from a angle opened my heart to love

The dark hides the scary things that only light can show. Sometimes it's better not to know. That's my take on this great poem!
