Emotion SwimmingA Poem by LordFinnaginJust a poem. I was feeling very sad.
swimming through thoughts of possible practices of love without wicks of hope on the candle of life that flickers and frivolously I attempt albeit in a different direction to keep it kicking,
slipping, slick like rubber soaked in hope, I cling to treacherous cliffs, fingers slowly flicking off tendons unable to hold on, keep snapping, keepsakes cracked, memories forgotten in the drought of visits, and drowned, not nearly drowned in compassion, more likely masked by others with bigger importance, made from micro to macro, mini to massive by perspective that applied also with a healthy serving of self-pity, and that causes cynicism to clog the pipelines that port feeling to compassion containers, sorry. © 2013 LordFinnaginAuthor's Note
