When We Took That Leave

When We Took That Leave

A Poem by Aliah Mae Ayala Mendoza
"

Leaving is a part of a process, for us to grow extensively, to leave the people tha have hurt us. To give ourselves second chances.

"
To leave is not to be afraid. Don't be frightened to take that leap, that step away from those who have hurt you. Some days will be brighter, and some days won't-- But leave it here. To leave is not to forget. No matter where you go, forget the pain, but let those recollections remain. Things are just like that. Just leave it here. Shortly, it will come. It will be strange how quick and easy it can go, but perhaps it is your time. The moment you've been waiting for.

Wise observation here. Sometimes it hurts to leave, but it is necessary. Just another of life's lessons.
