Dragging Me Under.

Dragging Me Under.

A Poem by Andrea M. Ramey
"

feeling alone in a crowd of people.

"
In the sea of people, I am lost.
I try to find my way, but the waves keep beating me down.
As the current starts to pull me under, I take my last gasp of air.
It all happened so fast.
Images started to flash by eyes, I started to give into the hoplessness of my situation.
I've just grown so tired, fighting...useless...
In flood of faces staring at me, none of them see that I'm drowning.
Knowing I'm slipping away, one last thought comes into my mind; "Is this good-bye?"...

I liked this one. I think most people can relate to this feeling at least once in their lives.

When I write it doesn't matter if it's a poem, story, or lyrics my intent is to having you seeing a "mini movie" in your head. Everything I write has a story/reason for why I wrote it as I did. I know.. more..
