Racist Beliefs

Racist Beliefs

A Poem by Jack
"

The 'facts' of racist morality die as truth of their origins is learned/revealed. Racism has an illusionary morality to those who believe it. Racism's one cure is James Baldwin's concept of Love

"
Factual mortal,
Musically moral, learn!
Lets lose lies for love.

A love for haiku poetry began in college, inspired by its simplicity and depth. The book Blue Harlequin captures these moments beautifully. Read the full article to explore the essence of haiku poetry: https://aoidemagazine.com/what-is-haiku-poetry/

Short and sweet..
racism- our whole world is suffering from this disease.. black and white; high and low castes; and many others (naming them might urge some people so being on a safer side.. :)..)
I liked the way you have brought up the topic in just three lines, and still very deep..
Lets lose lies for love.. true.. :)

911 was horrific. It was a tragedy I will never forget. As you look at it for what it was...it was about America. The races creeds and colors of the victims made no difference to the one's that attacked WTC. With all of that...it would seem that American's would begin to understand how outdated these beliefs are. Nice poem!

Beautiful, but I must admit that it took me a second to realize the meaning of the poem.
