this is less of a poem and more of me expressing how I feel

tell me why you're afraid of love. 

tell me why you're afraid of needing me.

tell me why you're afraid of me needing you. 

tell me why you deny the way you feel. 

tell me why you deny me the ability to feel the way I feel. 

you had a great love that was taken from you.

are you afraid of loving again because you can't bear to feel that loss again? 

you hurt me constantly, but you need someone like me. 

someone to stand with you through it all, even when it hurts the both of us.

I need you to tell me you love me.

I need to you tell me its okay for me to love you too.

that can be a hard sell sometimes...been on both sides...once the hurt is immense we really protect ourselves.
