Meaningless

Meaningless

A Poem by Brian
"

In a world as fucked up as ours, I don't understand why people try to live as long as possible. Human life is insignificant to world so we destroy it to make an impact.

"
A forest grows deep within the heart,
Spreading its roots and planting its seed.
We chop away with vicious ax,
When watching the forest outside us bleed.

A surreal epiphany consumes my mind.
Not for long does such a moment last.
Lingering only for a possibility of knowing,
But fades quickly with the history's past.

And now faced with an existence dilemma
We are all but tears in the rain
Struggling to build, fight, f**k and conquer
But none of it shall remain
