A Drop of Water

Got the idea when we were talking about social change in class yesterday.

One in a billion

 

A drop of water

 

Insignificant

 

Unless it’s the one drop that starts a flood

The drop granting life to a flower

Or the one extinguishing a fire

 

Miniscule drops

Meaningful consequences

 

But this doesn’t happen with one drop

One drop only starts something

Others must combine with it to have an impact

 

The other drops are necessary

But the first is the most important
