The reflected man

The reflected man

A Poem by WolfOfTheWind
"

Some s**t I freestyle wrote about self reflection

"
I'm having conversations with the main reflected in the forefront of my vision Staring deep into the mirror as if futures day were presented adjacent to my back The reflected man returned the stone stoic gaze as if to ask what is the ansewer that you lack ? I look to him and see the same pain and weakness that also haunts I. But only he can break me of my bonds, and offer the key to unlock the chains that shackle me. So with this deadest focus on the reflected man and he on me ,I create a new image to provoke changes on the day present . I stared into the windows of the reflected mans soul and became engulfed in the flames that burn within him ,within I. I clench my fists tight ,the inferno continues to melt within but also drys the tears that I cry . From the same shards that make up the mirror and it's image i shall begin to pick up the shattered pieces of my glass heart . And before I never look back and search for the strength I lack ,i take one last look long and hard . And promise to the reflected man ,and never lose who I am once again .
