Ballad of a Lonely HeartA Poem by Phantom HeartThis is my spoken word.
North again
South East West again Moral compass uprooted to Love's false devotion The seductive lips Of a lover stolen Stylistically- Love as a sweet winter rose Lonely as the frosty wind blows Passion-so intense it boils as the surface of the sun North South again East again West Therapeutic illusion With much over-due strife Behind closed bars Not worth to live Thematically- The divine yearning prose The sweet kiss only the lover knows It needs sensation or it cries Or in a lonely, dark doorway it dies
