Sacred Nature

Sacred Nature

A Poem by Phantom Heart
"

Thoughts while hiking

"
This visible world
Has given me memories of fondness
Distinctly tranquil
I ponder human necessities
I envision our invisible connectedness
To this experience
We call life

My instinct tells me
to let my love be everlasting
But my heart tells me
I am roaming lost hills under grey skies
In the distance I hear chiming bells
In this future
I fear pain

Then I remember
I am eternally taken with the skies
I shine the light unto
all what we call harmony and balance
I am the I am in my poem
Negativity is the absence of life
I live on

Author's Note

Phantom Heart
I was hiking in the red rocks and I had just gone through some hard times and during my 5 miles hike I thought about life and my life and I came to a turning point in my life where everything was going to change for the better and fear was going to be a part of it whether i liked it or not. I hope you enjoy reading and I hope that it helps or inspires at least one person. Thank you for your time.

It warmed my heart to stumble across this write & to hear that you had an "aha moment" in which you wanted to turn all the negative into positive. Negativity will only bring us down...and it's true as you say: "I am the I am in my poem" because it makes us realize that we can only be who we are, not who others expect us to be. It's glorious to have such tough, yet honoring moments as these. So we can finally leave the past behind us and just keep focusing on shaping a better future for ourselves and our desires. Always stay true to yourself & your life will fall right into place. Great poem!

We are created from nature and I believe this is why nature inspires us so much... Your experience while hiking somehow reflects the inner peace of your heart, I think it's a wonderful way to present the spiritual power that roams within and around nature... You have created some powerful yet peaceful imageries here too...

Sincerely
Dhiman

Nature is a good place to think and become inspired. One thing we have in common with nature is life and death. I enjoyed reading your poem. Correct me if I wrong, your does suggest that you are learning parallelism or have learned it. 100/100 -JT

There is a lot of pull between the flesh and the spirit here. The unseen; the feeling of inner peace and a grand resolve longing heavily to succeed. This is the human condition in struggle. There's a lot of power trying to find it's place here, and it will. Strong, good read. The writer finds her might in the end. She lives on becoming her own hero. I like that.

The above lines. Solid. I could write a epic tale from. Everlasting is a word rarely known today. Thank you Morgan for sharing the excellent poetry.
