Lost

I'm lost in my mind,

What a dark place to be.

No way out can I find,

No light of hope do I see.

I am stuck in here all alone,

Listening to the voices and screams.

Trying to find my way back home,

Hoping this is all just a scary dream.

Are my thoughts of death so real?

Longing to be out of my hell.

Why are pain and misery all I feel?

My mind is my own prison cell.

I cannot break free,

I tried once before.

For my insanity you see,

Will even the score
