Lost!

Lost!

A Poem by silentpoet

Awake again not sure where the day will take me,

Hope? I think I remember- but look what yesterday made me!

My soul so sure of at a time but now nothing can define what or how I breath,

It's a chapter for most in life but for me it was the end of the line and the beginning of all in me.

To climb boundaries that many would of fell from,

To see beyond what's in sight not many could of helped him,

To explore so thourough, through the depths when others would  of caved in- to giving so much  of myself, my heart, mind and soul but love would not save him,

Still, he walks-

Still, he breaths,

Still he is alive without a thought of me!

How is that, when I'm the one who bleeds?

I'm the one that soared higher than anyone could reach!

How is that, when I'm the one who screams?

I'm the one that stayed when everyone else decieved!

Who makes the changes?

Who makes the breed?

Why am I stuck here?

What is so wrong with me?

I try and try and push above the speed,

Still seems no matter what I do It's always just me!!

silentpoet
I have many different views on life and love as i'm sure so does everyone else. At times I just feel like I'm by myself in this world. My writing reflects who I am even times when I do not know myself.

This peticular view is very common even though you feel you're singled out.
I take it as a lesson learned and possibly the toughest of all lessons learned.
But there's always promise and hope of what was will turn out for a better
tomorrow. A deep and insightful look at ones inner turmoil..Nicely done...

Silent Poet,

Nah, a silent word today, this voice... this write speaks volumes of pain and longing, yet a bit of an eternal war?

Seems a bit of questioning your own selfworth... Not to worry, we are never to blame for anothers plunderings... we are merely the path in which they crawl.

I enjoyed this straight to the end... a bit of structure though would go hand in hand the distance this poem takes me.

Have a great day,

Legacy

You may want to consider (after a bit of structuring) to submit this in Enlightenment, the poetry contest on Poetic Infusion Society...
