marionette

marionette

A Poem by Alicia

i've got brains in my head
but i can't think for myself

i've got feet in my shoes
but can only crawl

lifeless and mechanical
strung up from the joints

a mouth that can't speak
eyes to a knotted soul
skin as rough as those underground roots

make me talk
spread your hypocrisy
