I Will Never Call You Mom

I Will Never Call You Mom

A Poem by Rebecca

I hate you

With all of my heart.

I find myself happy

whenever we're apart.

You must hate me too

For why else would you have done

All those awful things to me

Said all those awful words that stung?

You tried to make it up to me

You tried to be a friend.

Those were the best days

But they soon came to an end

All those drugs you took changed you

As you tried to forget the pain.

We were your personal punching bags

in your own twisted game.

Don't act like you're the only one

who was hurt by the loss

You tried to smoke away his memory

No matter what the cost.

This isn't how I should feel

towards the woman who gave birth to me.

But I hate you so much it makes me sick

And a b***h is all you'll be to me.
