A notebook
Filled with heart-filled truths
Pages of my heart
Held together with fine wire
Easily ripped
Waiting for a hero to return
Waiting to be carried
Into a field of tulips
Overrun with stars
A constellation on every petal
We fall into my dream
Awaiting the adventures hidden
Underneath every leaf
The petals stroke my face
I reach out to the moon
Just to meet your hand
Pulling me up
My eyes meeting yours
So deep
So familiar
A kiss among the tulips
My dreams are still on paper
Trimmed with silver wire.
