Good-Bye

Good-Bye

A Poem by Lolita
"

Stolen moments.

"

You kissed my
cheeks
at the top of
the stairs,
in the middle of
the station.

“I’ll be in touch
later,”
you said.

Then we went
our separate ways.
You, on
one side of the
platform.
Me, across from
you,
eye to eye.

You wink.
I giggle.

The people around us,
if only they knew
what we had
just done.

My train is here.

About
I once heard that C. S. Lewis said, "we read to know we are not alone." I suppose we also write to know that we are not alone. A naiad of sorts; passionate about art, nature, and words. more..
