parallel longing

parallel longing

A Poem by Valley
"

parallel longs for parallel together they coexist

"

Oh, my dearest sunrise

I long to touch and hold

You to my crescent beat

But as you crescendo

Into the fullest

Of dawn

I have already fallen far

And I am never reach you

Again

Oh, how the night yearns

For day

As despair yearns

For hope

As misery yearns

For joy

And just as peace

May not exist

Without the presence of war

The day shall not survive

Without the longing

Of night

That is really a very nice poem...In a very simple way you expressed everything so nicely...I indeed enjoyed reading this poem and especially the last para -
AND JUST AS PEACE
MAY NOT EXIST
WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF WAR
THE DAY SHALL NOT SURVIVE
WITHOUT THE LONGING
OF NIGHT
you expressed your ideas in a very beautiful manner in this poem and carve it using powerful words which appealed to the soul of reader...It was indeed very nice..never leave writing..
eager to read your next writing....
keep on writing and thanks for sharing...
take care...
