The Ferris Wheel

The Ferris Wheel

A Poem by Valley
"

I tried to write a happy poem but it didn't work out that way.

"

There is a Ferris wheel

Rising from the sand

Can you tell if it’s moving?

Can you tell where it ends?

And do you see

Them falling from the sky?

Their flailing and screaming

Falling stars in your eyes.

This should have been happy

But now they all fall.

And the Ferris wheel is tipping,

Never heed its call.

Sometimes there’s no helping

Those that risk for freedom

You can only watch

As their dreams collapse their kingdom

Very beautiful!
Loved the flow of the poem
The innocence and emotion I could feel
The chills you sent flying down my spine!
"And do you see
Them falling from the sky?
Their flailing and screaming
Falling stars in your eyes."

Really stuck to me more!
Well done hey
