Loneliness

The day is gone,
Night has come,
I drift into deep thought,
Wishing you was here.

Can a broken heart be mended,
Can it go unnoticed,
Without you I'm broken,
The loneliness sets in.

I cannot take anymore pain,
Please heal this heart of mine,
For without you I am nothing,
And nothing I am without you.

Time heals all wounds they say,
Heal my wounds of loneliness,
Heal my heart and give me strength,
Make me the person I once was.
