Choice

Choice

A Poem by Lloyd B. Wolf

The path that a man must take in
life is never set in stone. His
choices are his and his alone. And
so each day greets another
change. For no mans path is set in
stone.

The tools he has been provided,by
his Lord thy God above. But which
and when, and where he uses them
is his choice and his alone. For
no mans path is set in stone.

And if upon this path he should
stray; and dare to dance with the snake.
The choice shall still
be his and his alone. For no mans
path is set in stone.

With his dying breath he may
choose to pray to his maker, the
choices he made in life
haunting.But in the end,he shall
be judged for his choice in
life, which was his and his alone
to make. For no mans path is set
in stone.

And the Tree of Life shall bear
his mark upon her bark, and there
he shall look and see.The path he
carved was his alone. For no mans
path is set in stone.
