Hesitation can be deadly to the now

 

While I Hesitate

 

You are looking for your voice

while I die

past fractures have to heal

while I cry

you want to have attention, not mine

and I ask why

searching for you, believing us was a lie,

I'm baffled while I stare at the grey sky.

 

Clearing the fog so you can see

while I wait

wanting to lose the lens of me

pain for me it creates

trying to fall out love with me so you can find you

my life hesitates.

 

You want a voice,

not mine

that heals as you hear

so you can find

the you.

 

I don't want to die,

cry,

ask why

or think we were a lie

while looking at grey sky,

I'm not sure I can wait,

unbearable pain it creates as I hesitate,.........
